THE BUYING DECISION

Our assessment

Choose Pro for a defined software-subscription operating model, not simply because it is the higher tier. Unlimited already removes the subaccount-count ceiling.

A sensible fit when

You have a clear packaged offer, onboarding process, support responsibility and billing policy.

Pause or compare when

You are still testing demand and assume turning on SaaS Mode will create a profitable software business.

Define what the customer is buying

A managed marketing service and a self-service software subscription have different support expectations. Specify whether you build campaigns, configure workflows, answer software questions or only provide account access. A checkout page does not resolve these responsibilities. A narrow, understandable offer is easier to price and support than an undefined promise to automate the whole business.

Model the incremental $200 carefully

On monthly billing, the plan difference is $200. If your assumed contribution per active subscription after variable costs were $40, five subscriptions would cover that difference only. They would not cover your entire operation, owner time, acquisition cost, refunds or taxes. Change the assumption using actual records; this arithmetic is a planning threshold, not expected income.

Provisioning is one part of onboarding

Automated account creation can remove a setup step. You still need to verify the customer has a usable account, relevant settings, clear access instructions and a way to ask for help. Test a failed payment, a canceled subscription and an account that never completes onboarding. Your recovery process matters as much as the successful checkout path.

Keep branding and optional apps separate

Confirm the exact branding experience you need before committing. Desktop branding, a client portal app and a white-label mobile app are different deliverables; do not assume a plan name includes every app. The current public pricing page lists optional add-ons separately. Request a complete quote for the experience you intend to sell.

Your buying checklist

  1. Write down included service and support boundaries.
  2. Test provisioning, payment failure and cancellation.
  3. Confirm add-ons and the exact API functions required.
  4. Use actual contribution data before choosing an annual commitment.

Use the checklist with your actual team and workflow. Passing a generic feature check is not a guarantee of suitability.
